The case is made of 1/8” acrylic and is easy to handle. However, some buyers have found that the shipment sometimes comes with minor cracks and scratches. The case is not completely dustproof, but with proper attachment of the lid on top or bottom, it can be dust-resistant for a year or two. The case comes in a lid and base design with no open back part to make removal of the product easy. The walls of the case are 1/8” thick, and the product is made in the USA.
