The Pond Guy ClearSpring Pro Waterfall The ClearSpring Pro Waterfall is a great addition to any pond/stream setup, with its easy to maintain and efficient filter box. The waterfall spillway requires a separate pump to pump water from the pond into the filter, before pouring it back into the pond. The filter box can fit 3-4 filter mats together with bioballs, which are like large filter media balls that fit neatly into the mesh bag that can hold up to 400. However, some customers have found difficulty in cleaning and maintenance that requires vacuuming out. Some customers also found it challenging to find a suitable cover, and some wished for a fake rock cover to come with it. Conversely, other customers had no trouble with their waterfall filter box and had great success in maintaining their pond/stream with the filter. Nevertheless, there are some complaints about the lack of adaptability in hose widths and that some pieces should have been thought out better during the setup.
