répondre: Presumably you'd be using it for the G string. No reason why an 009 wouldn't work but 008 is pretty much the norm. -

répondre: For the B strings, you would need .16 plain strings and wound .32 gauge strings for the D. This is if you are using standard 12 - 54 set. -

répondre: It can be if you generally use extra lite strings, but it would be way too floppy for me. I wouldn't use anything less than a 13 gauge on an electric and at least a 14 gauge on an acoustic. -

Which one is the A string?
répondre: This is a Top E string for medium/heavy electric set or a light acoustic set. It can also be used as a B string on a light/Extra light electric set. The A string for the D'addario electric set EXL 116 Is 42 Nickel Wound.
